• Only purchase and use a high quality battery charger designed for Lithium-Ion Batteries.
• Do NOT charge batteries from a laptop computer.
• Ensure the purchased Lithium-Ion Battery Charger correctly works.
• Always monitor the charging process to ensure Lithium-Ion Batteries are being properly charged.
• Do NOT leave Lithium-based batteries unattended during the charging process.
• Discontinue charging immediately if a battery begins to hiss, swell, smoke, or become hot, and ensure the Lithium-Ion Battery is in a secure area away from children and combustible materials.

Lithium-Ion Battery Care

• Purchase Lithium-Ion Batteries which will be appropriate for the device in which it will be used.
• Ensure Lithium-Ion Batteries are clear of rust, dirt, and any other build-up.
• Ensure Lithium-Ion Batteries each have an intact and clean wrap which is free of all tears and build-up.
• Ensure Lithium-Ion Batteries each have an intact and clean insulator which is free of all tears and build-up.
• Avoid puncturing and denting Lithium-Ion Batteries.
• Replace Lithium-Ion Batteries if they are damaged, wet, punctured, or dented.
• Do NOT use Lithium-Ion Batteries if they are damaged, wet, punctured, or dented.

Charging Process

• Ensure the purchased charger works correctly, as some Lithium-Ion Battery Chargers may have technical deficiencies which cause the charger to charge the batteries incorrectly or at an improper rate.
• Allow Lithium-Ion Batteries to reach room temperature before charging.
• Charge Lithium-Ion Batteries in an isolated area, separate from combustible materials.
• Do NOT charge Lithium-Ion Batteries inside a car or in other areas with extreme temperatures, both hot and cold.
• Do NOT charge Lithium-Ion Batteries from a laptop computer.
• Always monitor the charging process to ensure Lithium-Ion Batteries are being properly charged.
